Since 1994, we've presented a pantomime annually just before Christmas. In 2000, the Ebor Players were very proud to present the village Pageant, which had not been seen since 1970. It tells the story of the village through its' Archbishops (known as the Archbishop of York) from earliest beginnings through to modern times.
It was funded through a Heritage Lottery Fund grant, plus our own fundraising and took place in the magnificent splendour of the Palace Grounds in Bishopthorpe on 18-22 July 2000.
